She smiles and nods.

"Always, y'maea." A little nudge. "Rest. I'll be here."

"Y'maea?" He murmured, before he got comfortable, closing his eyes. "Thank you."

He drifted into a light doze for awhile. He'd feel better once he had some time to let his emotions and mind settle.

And John will hold him while he does, gently petting his hair until his breathing evens out.

She was good to him. So good. Eventually- it might have been as little as ten minutes, it could have been an hour- he stirred, his breathing shifting to that of someone awake.

He was pretty sure his hand was on muscle, not breast as it flexed and squeezed.

"Mm...John." and he offered a sleepy nuzzle.

It was. And John nuzzles back, rumbling happily as he gathers Oscar against him.

"Mhmm. Yes?"

"Mmm...you put your boobs away." He nuzzled him, before offering a small kiss. "The muscles are nice."

He was still a little doopy from sleep.

He chuckles a little and kisses him back sweetly.

"I wanted to give you a bigger 'me' to sleep on."

Beat.

"Thank you. I'm glad you like them."

"That was very nice of you. Thank you." He nuzzled his cheek, smiling at him.

"They're very nice. Though- that does make me think. Your companion, Sokie- she didn't come by, did she?"

John was unique but also...his girlfriend? Friend? Housemate? Might not like John offering the bed to his priest.

(Nevermind that she happily gave up any bed for Oscar's death toll.)

He shakes his head.

"She checked in. I told her I had someone with me. She says 'hello'."

A pause before-

"Did you want to meet her?"

"Oh. She's not mad? Then...that's all I need to know." He shook his head, moving to lay his head against John's chest for a few moments, feeling a little flustered.

Someone else knew they had sex. Or at least cuddling. Hopefully she only thought it was cuddling. It was only now that he realized he had been very noisy.

"Er...you can say hi back? If you'd like. I was, um. Going to invite you to the bath or something. I feel better." He peered up at him. "I'm not sure why I got so...worked up after. Sorry John."

He shakes his head, not so much 'firmly' as decisively.

"She's not mad. I wouldn't tell her who you are without your okay, but she and I both have other partners and I'm open with her about that. She's happy I'm happy and I feel the same way."

He perks up at the mention of a bath, though, rumbling happily.

"I'd love to take a bath with you. But you don't have anything to apologize for. It was wonderful to share that with you." He nuzzles again. "And you should know that you're loved."

"Oh." That was...a strange sort of relationship, but as established before...John wasn't normal, and Oscar liked him that way.

"I suppose...if I'm coming over more often, or you to me...she should know who I am, and our connection. To be fair to her."

So she'd know how to find John, if something went wrong. Oscar still huffed a little, and leaned up to give John a firm kiss.

"And I know I'm loved. I love you, and you love me. And- that won't change." He breathed out a slow breath. "But- let's get cleaned up a bit. I'm sure we both smell like sex."

And there were creatures and people on board who'd smell and know. And he wasn't sure what the reaction would be if people found out a priest got laid.

Even if it was due to love.

He nods. He's pretty sure that Sokie knows he has feelings for Oscar given the "keeping him in the cabin all week" but he doesn't mind them knowing on another. Especially since Sokie was coming home with him. Oscar would be there.

Some Oscar. And he'd come visit this one regardless.

...he enjoys the firm kiss. He greatly enjoys when Oscar is a little huffy and insistent. Yes, please. Insist. He loves it.

But at the mention of baths...

"I have a nice big bathtub. We can get washed up together."

...eventually.

"I can carry you over if you're still feeling wobbly."

Sokie figured out there was some 'mine' happening when John brought Oscar back and cared for him all week. Whether they would be around this Oscar or another, he'd be in their life until he passed on.

She knew the score. And Oscar would too, in time. Currently, he was more concerned in doting and huffing at John at the same time.

"Let's do that then." Another kiss, firm and affectionate was offered before he scooted to the edge of the bed. "I feel better, so you don't have to carry me. But...another time John. Promise."

And he reached to take his fingers and squeeze.

John will return the squeeze, and the kiss, before pushing himself out of bed. He's entirely naked and looks clean regardless of what they'd done; he'll give a little stretch before leaning over to peck a kiss and heading for the bathroom.

He'll start the warm water going. But there's an important question Oscar needs to answer.

"Bubbles or oils?"

And here he thought John would feel sticky like him from the sweat. He certainly felt sticky and...other things that he hadn't before.

Lucky John. Oscar took his time to stretch a little, working out some of the kinks in his back as he followed John slowly. His curls were all over the place as he made to smooth his hand over his hair. "Oils,if you don't mind. Thank you John."

His gaze lingered on John's back and on his ass. He really would need to spend a morning in prayers or something to calm down. His hunger for John was insatiable.

He was all those things. And then he didn't want to be so he wasn't. John tries his best not to cheat most of the time but that one? Nope. He'd have done the same for Oscar if he wouldn't have been worried the other man would be thrown off and wonder if it was all a dream.

But he nods to the answer before leaning on to kiss Oscar's cheek and reach his hands around to rub at his back a little, front to front.

"I could give you a backrub in the warm water if you'd like."

Oscar would have quietly freaked out. Sorry John. Mr Scratch had left some deep scars.

"I would love that. It doesn't hurt or ache, but..." He felt himself smile, slight and soft. "The attention...is quite nice."

And he planned on spoiling John rotten with back rubs and front rubs and anything else that came to mind.

He smiles and nods.

"It is, isn't it?" And Oscar is going to get a kiss on the nose again before he pulls him a little closer. There's time for a few kisses before they get in the tub, after all. It has to fill, after all.

Oscar laughed- giggled really- as he let himself be drawn in closer. He could hear the tub fill in the background.

"It is." Was all he said before he was kissing John again, his left arm brushing over John as his right hand graced his back. It was just a few kisses. They'd get in the bath...eventually.

The scent of the oils he's added start wafting through the bathroom as the heated water fills: sandalwood and patchouli and something resinous and warm to round them out. John takes a moment to keep rubbing at his hips and his lower back as they kiss, only breaking it when he turns back to the bath.

"I think that's good. It'll be more full once we get in. And the jets will be nice on your muscles."

"Right. We wouldn't want it to spill over." His voice was a little breathless, but he's trying to ignore it- or his rather, understandable reaction to making out.

The bathroom smells warm, masculine, and expensive. He takes a moment to breathe it in, letting it clear his mind- only to puzzle over one thing.

"Sorry John but...jets in the bath? Is that- a future thing?"

Jacuzzis sadly weren't a thing yet in his time.

He has to think about that.

"I think so," he says after a moment, "but they're nice. I'll show you. They feel good, like the water massaging you itself."

He kisses him once more before he draws back, and Oscar certainly would have felt that he wasn't the only one effected by the kissing, but it's visibly confirmed then as well. John will gesture to the little steps up to the bath.

"I'll get in first and then I can steady you while you step in. We can sit on opposite sides... or you can sit in my lap while we clean up."

"Huh. That's a pleasant thing from the future." He smiled. The other things he heard was...well. Mostly weird things he still had trouble understanding.

Water jets just sounded nice.

And it was nice to know he wasn't the only one effected from a quick glance. Though he had to offer a quick, small laugh at sitting on opposite sides.

"John sweetheart- we're not going to be able to stick to opposite sides. I'll sit on your lap." He paused, even as he stood on the steps up the bath.

"Oh. A-a-re you okay with me calling you that? Sweetheart?"

If anything, he looks thrilled about 'sweetheart'. He nods as he settles down and holds up an arm.

"I don't really want to be called any other name than John," he says easily enough, "but nicknames like that-" he nods again, "I like that. I like having a special name from you. I like being your sweetheart."

He pauses before adding.

"Y'maea is like that. It's what I called you before. I-it means 'Beloved One'. Are you okay with that?"
