It was. And John nuzzles back, rumbling happily as he gathers Oscar against him.

He shakes his head.

"She checked in. I told her I had someone with me. She says 'hello'."

A pause before-

"Did you want to meet her?"

He perks up at the mention of a bath, though, rumbling happily.

"Oh." That was...a strange sort of relationship, but as established before...John wasn't normal, and Oscar liked him that way.

"I suppose...if I'm coming over more often, or you to me...she should know who I am, and our connection. To be fair to her."

So she'd know how to find John, if something went wrong. Oscar still huffed a little, and leaned up to give John a firm kiss.

"And I know I'm loved. I love you, and you love me. And- that won't change." He breathed out a slow breath. "But- let's get cleaned up a bit. I'm sure we both smell like sex."

And there were creatures and people on board who'd smell and know. And he wasn't sure what the reaction would be if people found out a priest got laid.

And he reached to take his fingers and squeeze.

John will return the squeeze, and the kiss, before pushing himself out of bed. He's entirely naked and looks clean regardless of what they'd done; he'll give a little stretch before leaning over to peck a kiss and heading for the bathroom.

He'll start the warm water going. But there's an important question Oscar needs to answer.

"Bubbles or oils?"

Oscar laughed- giggled really- as he let himself be drawn in closer. He could hear the tub fill in the background.

"It is." Was all he said before he was kissing John again, his left arm brushing over John as his right hand graced his back. It was just a few kisses. They'd get in the bath...eventually.

The scent of the oils he's added start wafting through the bathroom as the heated water fills: sandalwood and patchouli and something resinous and warm to round them out. "I think that's good. It'll be more full once we get in. And the jets will be nice on your muscles."

He pauses before adding.

"Y'maea is like that. It's what I called you before. I-it means 'Beloved One'. Are you okay with that?"

Oh, his heart. He swallowed, and stepped forward, making to take his arm, using it to balance as he stepped into the bath.

"You're John, and that's your name. That's why I was...worried, because names are important. Titles are important. But...I like you being my sweetheart too."

And he'll help Oscar to lower himself down in the water, though hopefully he doesn't mind the, er, 'seat' waiting for him on John's lap. John isn't in the least bit uncomfortable about being sat on. If anything, he rumbles happily as his arms go around Oscar and he'll place his chin on Oscar's shoulder. He'll give Oscar a little squeeze, enjoying the way his skin feels in the warm, oil-slicked water, and he turns his head to press a few kisses to Oscar's jaw.

"Let me turn on the jets. You'll get to feel them on your legs, mostly. Since you're sitting on me."
