[ Given the death and destruction and everything, it takes him a moment to parse where Oscar is going, especially since he's not actually using any of the words.

Subtext is not his forte.

But when he mentions his vow-]

[ A firm nod. Then- ]

[ But he will take his lips in a sweet, soft kiss. ]

Do you know what you'd like to do? Or would it be easier for me to show you when the time comes?

[He laughs quietly, kissing John back. He feels very shy, even if he didn't out and out say it.]

[And he leans in for a soft kiss.]

I try to mostly be consistent for people. And switching that throws a lot of people off. But-
